The successor to the wireless standard 802g is known as 802n. The standard has a single profile and now has to be agreed upon. It should appear in products in 2006, and feature faster wireless with longer ranges. In the meantime, there have been some "pre-n" products that have some new features; however they may not be part of the new standard. Early adopters be warned.
